I grew up on Sydney’s northern beaches and lived on the Gold Coast for over 20 years but recently made the move to Northern NSW.
I’m also a Training, Learning & Development professional with a background in Admin and Compliance so attention to detail is my thing!
I like to think I’m young at heart, friendly, warm, calm and genuine. I’m definitely reliable, punctual, hardworking and, when there’s a task at hand (like writing your ceremony), I’m 100% committed to getting it right.
I love travelling, good food, cooking, renovating, a cold buttery Chardonnay and hanging out with my family and friends.
I’m a Celebrant because I love love and I honestly believe there is no greater honour or privilege than to be present when two people commit to each other for life.
Karen was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. Luke was extremely nervous about the whole day especially the formalities. Karen casually chatted to him while waiting for me, to help calm his nerves. It was like having a friend up there with him.
We were so unsure of the process at the beginning and had no idea where to start with the planning but all the information you provided, made it clear and simple.
We both wanted something simple and suited to our relationship and Karen made sure this happened. She takes the time to really know her clients and understand their needs for the day. All of the guests thought the ceremony was perfect and relaxed, and showed our true love story. I would recommend Karen in a heartbeat.

Javier and I had the immense pleasure of inviting Karen to be our celebrant for our wedding. As it was scheduled during the year of constant change, our plans reflected just that. She meet us as a couple prior and asked all the right questions to understand who we were and how we came to be as a couple. Eventually our wedding was a very personal day with just our adult children. Karen’s service was very touching mixed with some humour and highlights.
Karen’s attention to detail shows. My daughter, who has attended many weddings, commented on the way Karen's notes were in a beautiful presentation book and her consideration towards colours of the bride's choice. We are so thrilled we had Karen as a witness to our marriage.
Karen, we are both incredibly grateful with your professionalism, your gentle manner on sensitive subjects (Covid lockdowns and overly stressed bride), you adapted quickly and without hesitation to the many changes that needed to occur, and we both believe you went above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from their celebrant.
We spent much time on our honeymoon reflecting on the wedding day (and the lead up) and how nothing ended up being what we had originally envisaged however we were both so grateful and appreciative of how well put together everything turned out in the end, and you most definitely played quite a large role in making our day as perfect as it was.
